Milford Sound is one of the most famous destinations in all of New Zealand. It's located in the Fiordland National Park on the South Island of New Zealand and was named a World Heritage Site because of it beauty. Rudyard Kipling even named it the eighth wonder of the world. It is actually a temperate rain forest - it is known as the wettest inhabited place in New Zealand and one of the wettest in the world.
Milford has hundreds of beautiful waterfalls year round. This is the 155m (or 508 ft) tall Stirling Falls - you can see how stunning this waterfall is by comparing it to the triple-decker boat at the base (that boat has three levels and about 30 cabins for guests plus the crews quarters). If you'd like to see the view of the waterfall from the boat, you can see it here: http://www.colleenmgriffith.com/Galleries/Travel-Destinations/New-Zealand/3907408_pWaRE#532245826_7qSEf
Other than a slight increase in contrast, this photo is straight out of the camera.
